Olshan Properties acquired a property with its data stored in JDE. This precipitated a need to migrate lease data from JDE, the seller’s system, to Yardi, their property management platform. The migration process included comparing Rent Roll and Average Rent Data between JDE and Yardi.
THE CHALLENGE
The JDE recurring charges data contained gaps, posing integration complexities with Yardi. Rent Roll comparisons revealed numerous variances, highlighting the importance of factoring in JDE’s suspension date functionality during data uploads to Yardi. Mapping bill codes between JDE and Yardi proved intricate due to lack of standardization in JDE, leading to multiple descriptions for the same bill code. In addition, compatibility issues arose with accommodation of the incomplete JDE sales overage data into Yardi.
SOLUTION
Olshan Properties selected NTrust Infotech because of their extensive experience with Yardi systems. NTrust uses Yardi to administer 30,000 multifamily leases and understands how to optimize Yardi automation features.
SCOPE OF WORK:
Identify all validations in Yardifor setting up recurring charges. Validate and import JDE recurring charges in to Yardi • Update “rent end” dates in Yardi with the suspension dates in JDE to eliminate superfluous records in Yardi • Map bill codes between JDE and Yardiusing “Chart Account Code” description to eliminate multiple descriptions for the same bill code • Analyze sales overage datagaps in JDE and import clean data into Yardi • Compare sales overage rentbetween both systems, address variances, make adjustments to leases impacted to ensure data matches
Completed project on time over an eight week period
